No one on here is going to disaude Shiv from posting anything, and certainly not me. In fact I hope he posts a lot around here as he will create some healthy debates and fun filled threads for those who chose to participate

I could care less if he sells 2 piggy-backs or 1000 piggy-backs. My only word of caution to those who don't know Shiv is do your research....which I assume you would do anyway if you bought product from AWE, EVO, Ultimate, Protomotive, etc. That's all.

Shiv,
I don't want to nor is there a need to get into what others have said about your shop. Like I said, that crowd is primarily more of entry level that may be unfamiliar with what can/does happen with cars once you start modifying them. I'm sincere when I say that this should be interesting to have you work on these cars as it always seems, the more people research/develop/tune cars, it gets better for everyone overall.

I have no first hand expereiance dealing with you or your company. I have however met people over the years, dating years back that made claims in a negative manner about tuning, upgrades, etc. That was then, this is now. I don't have a 996TT/997TT but have been around these cars for quite some time. If I was a foot shorter, I would be much more comfortable in one. That doesn't mean that I don't think about buying one for my wife to haul our little boys around in.

Best of luck and I'm sure you'll keep people posted of progress and feedback will develop from end users. Regards. Peter

Yeah, that's great.

Peter-- I know who you are, what you are trying to do, and whom you are doing it for. It's kinda sweet. But also kind of sad. I have no problem calling you out on it. No doubt, you will play innocent. But the facts I lay out will not be in the favor of either you or your pal. Then we can let the readers come to their own conclusion and see just what kind of bs goes on behind the scenes in Porsche "tooning" land.

Or we can just stay on topic. Your choice

Your fellow Bay Area resident,
Shiv

Thanks markski-- Quite a rocket you got there. I've been hearing about it for quite some time now. I think Martin (ams) told me about it first.

Are you really serious? The WRX crowd is entry level? I believe that I know more Subaru guys who know how to tune their own cars than there are Porsche tuners who can tune cars....really.

Wind of change coming...

Be good,
TomK

I couldn't agree with you more. There is a lot of demystifying that's going to happen in the next couple of months in the Porsche tuning world. And certain people are not happy about that.

I think Red C5 is refering to the fact that even a 5 year old 911 turbo is still double or triple the price of a subaru.
