Help!!!! jerking during 2nd gear!!!
Dear fellows,
I have run into a tough situation and I really need some help. I sincerely hope someone here can save me from the hell I am now
.
About a years ago I got my 01 tip 996 turbo. A jerking during acceleration in 2nd gear happened from time to time and only happen in 2 gear. I was told it might be the reason of the tiptronic control unit. I took my car to the local dealer to change it but they are not so sure about the soultion. There is no error code and even thought they download my data transfered to Germany, still no conclude
. After checked the technical information, it mentioned the jerking should be happened in 3rd gear not as mine in the 2nd. It can be temperatory correct by reset transmission ECU but re-occur after some violent drive after day or hours. The jerking only occured when accelerate in 2nd gear within 30~50Km. It doesn't happen if I push gas pedal very very slow or if I switch to mannul. Does anyone have the same situation? Is it really occured by the tiptronic control unit? Any information will be very appreciate!
Best regards
Chenshan

I took my car to dealer as soon as I aware that. Problem is, they are not so sure about what's really going on
! They never deal with the jerking before. I was told I should pay for the ECU first no matter my problem can be solved or not. If not, they will take transmission apart with no gaurantee
! I think I should at least figure out the reason for my jerking before wasting any money
.
I see... sometimes when i blow ur plugs it has the same effect.
