Question EVO Clutch Upgrades

I have a 2003 996tt. Am considering upgrading the clutch since mine is getting weaker now. Has anyone done clutch upgrades and what is the best level for street performance? Thanks.

I recently upgraded my clutch to a 4100lb Sachs pressure plate and a
ceramic disc. It compares to the stage 3 EVO set up.

Stage 2 EVO pressure plate and disc with< 5K miles

Great Choices abound here with your board sponsors.
Sharkwerks, EVOMS, UMW, Vivid, Imagine Auto, AWE, FVD, etc.

Call and talk to anyone of these folks and they can help you.
I have driven the Ultimate MW set-up (DR. Tom Kerr) and it was perfectly
drivable and a strong set-up. I also know that Sharkey, Dr. Stephen and
others above have done hundreds collectively and it is mostly the same set-up. I thought I wanted LW flywheel but was talked out of it by Todd at Protomotive (FOR MY NEEDS). Talk with one of these sellers about you usage, ie. do you care about "chatter", do you care if it is "trickier to drive"
than the stock one? etc. I hope this helps.

I believe the clutch upgrades will be a definite improvement over stock. What I really want to know is which level is the easiest to drive in the street. Level 1, 2, 3 or 4? Any votes for easiest and best to drive in street - around 600hp.

Mizendo,

Your car's motor is stock? if yes: then call above guys and get stage 2
Like the statman says, he has the stats to back it up.
