Okay I have the basic GT700 package with internals built. My question is what other things can be added to this and what type of hp increase will it bring with proper tuning?

5 Bar FPR
Intercoolers (maybe no hp increase but no heat soak)
Throttle body kit

What else am I missing?

Yellow stickers.

I suppose you could run a nitrous spray on your intercoolers to cool them down more.

question is Buddy, if you've built up your internals..might as well goto the GT800 or whatever turbos and flash and call it a day

I don't want to step up to GT750 or GT800 because they user larger turbo's and hence more lag. I was just curious what kind of tweaks could be done to the GT700 to pick up some more ponies.

hmm...fair enough. i was going to say get a lightweight flywheeel but u already did that lol. what about the intake plenum? And take some weight outta the car too

having said that..once you reach the GT700 level...is internal building mandatory? I'd imagine yes.

Reading the air flow above that required to make 480HP and being able to match that air with the appropriate amount of fuel to reach the stochiometric (?) efficient 12.5:1 ratio will add some ponies. Yes Buddy, I'm talking about the Hitachi MAF. Big Bad Ben tells me it makes a MEANINGFUL increase in power. Be has a very good but-dyno. I know you've been opposed to changing your MAF in the past. I am expecting my Hitachi MAF from Mike @ EVO yesterday and will give you my impressions.

THEN, make her breath better!

I agree with Dan and Mike . . . TB/Y-pipe, ICs and Hitachi MAF should be your first priorities. You could also add the Innovative intake plenum, port the heads, eliminate your cats, etc. Lots of options.

Stephen Had The Gt 28 And Made 823 Fwhp
Suman Has The Gt 28 And Made 686 Rwhp
Another Person Made 696 Rwhp On Gt 28
And One More Person Made 701 Rwhp On Gt 28
Dmk???????
So There Must Be Other Secret Ingredients
Would Love To See More Responses On This Topic

ur wasting time with the little stuff.... yes it would be nice to have ICs and bigger TB... but lets say that costs about $5.5K. you get maybe some efficiency and a better Throttle response but no REAL PONIES.
You spend another $1000 on the gt30rs and ECU upgrade and you get 100 rwhp. TO ME THE ANSWER IS A NO BRAINER.
Why would you be so concerned about LAG... when ur up in the RPM range and hit it from 2nd or 3rd you will not have any lag... at 3700 rpms ur gt30rs are kicking... how often do u do pulls form 1500 rpms.. do you ever? No not really. You always downshift and then hit it.... I would sacrifice 500 rpms for another 100 rwhp anytime.
You have the motor done... what are you waiting for.
PS. you might need a better fuel system as well.
good luck
