Latest Exhaust Systems

Seems like all the exhaust system manufactures keep improving their products. I'm considering replacing the stock system. The Europipe seems to get the best buyer feed back and the build quality looks the best. However I've heard that 100 cell cat may work at first, but cause CEL problems as they age. I looked at the AWE system with 300 cell cats, but don't care for the multipiece system with clamps holding it all together. Does Europipe (or any other one piece manufacturer) make a 200 to 300 cell cat system.

INteresting comment on the EP CEL problem due to aging 100 cell cats. Never heard that before. You sure about your information?

It's theoritical on the PCA website at the moment. I'm trying to find out if anyone has any real world experience with extensive miles on 100 cell cats.

I had EP II quiet for 3 years, but only 8,000 miles. No CEL. My 2001 Turbo that I converted to Ruf R Turbo Spec has same 100 cell cats at the EP II and that car has never thrown a CEL either and it has 41,000 miles.
