Gt 2

Hi Guys..

Fairly new here..but I love it already..you are a WEALTH of information. Kudos!

My question is this. I have a 2002 Basalt Black/Black 996 TT with the MONKEYTRONIC..and I actually like it, because I drive it in stop and go traffic alot, but I have a friend that has a 2002 GT 2 with ONLY 153 miles on it...yep 153...it sits and sits..and I asked him if he was willing to sell it, and he is...but I can't really get an idea what to pay him for it...Edmunds is high...my Porsche dealership said 140K..which I think is low..although that would be nice!

So...do you guys have ANY idea on a "ballpark" range that I should shoot him?? He's fairly well off...but I don't want to feel like a thief either...suggestions PLEASE!?!?!

140 for an 02 is the right number.

i also think 140 sounds pretty fair. You will definitely not regret it. The car is an absolute bargain at that price. We paid just over 160 for our 02 last june.

$140k for an 02 GT2 with virtually no mileage sounds low to me, I dont know why anyone would sell for that.

Thanks guys..I was thinking in the low 150's..mainly because of the LOW LOW mileage...but maybe I am a bit high..Edmunds was in the low to high 160's which I thought was crazy...

Where is that Dealer with an untitled 03 for 148K???

The dealer for $148 was in Madison Wi. It had sat in inventory for manny months.I believe they sold it last month, because it's no longer listed on their web site.

If you don't buy it, nothing short of a divorce would keep me from a gt2 with 100 miles on it for 140k. I'd buy all day
