Yeah give Evosport a call, they are in the 714 area code, so they are not far fom us. Brabus is in Newport. I thought their "K" package has cam swap as well. Renntech is on the worng coast (Florida).

I just ordered 2 filters online, and will go to the dealership and order the inlet pipe tomorrow. I will call evosport, kleeman and renntech tomorrow, as well. Thanks guys.

Shank or RaveTT if you see this please shoot me a PM

*edit* BTW, do any of you know of a shop in So Cal that can make a custom exhaust including headers...preferably with a mandral bender.

This is my first post.

I don't own a Porsche so I have mostly been reading the board.

However, I do own a 2004 E55. I did the RENNTech chip, pulley, filter upgrade almost immediately after breaking in the car.

I went with RENNTech because they have the most experience with Mercedes and they have a great warranty. Their price was also very good.

Brabus would be a great route to go, but I just don't have that kind of money.

And as for evosport, I don't know if they have a product out yet for the E55. Their customer service also doesn't seem to be the best from what I heard.

I got my RENNTech upgrade through Autowerks Direct.

Here is their website:

They are a great group of guys who work very closely with Mercedes Benz dealers in their area. I think they're currently working on installing some RENNTech upgrades for an SL55. Even though they are down near San Diego, they were not too far for me to drive. I left my car with them Sunday and got it back Thursday.

I also had them install a bunch of other things such as my rear spoiler, steering wheel and illuminated door sills.

Here are some pictures of my car:

If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. I love talking about and driving my car.
