Quick help on Price for 2003 Turbo

I was not planning on looking for a Porsche yet, but a local dealer got a 2003 996TT in on a trade that I can't stop looking at when I drive by 20 times a day.

It is a 2003 with 19,954 miles. 6 speed. Silver/Black. Stock. They are asking $74,995.

I have bought 4 cars from this dealer before, and I have a leased car up in a month, so I figure we may be able to work out a deal.

Any ideas of what a good price would be for this car to negociate to?

I would have normally done my research, but like I said, I wasn't planning on looking for this yet.

Thanks!

-Kyle

Well, I just bought an '01 CPO with 20k for $65k, so I think $75k is a good deal. If you can get them down to $72k, that would be a steal!

I purchased an '03 (Supple leather, crests, NAV, Champion RG19s, small AL trim package, memory seats, XM Radio, CD Changer) with 27k miles for $68k just two months ago. Unless this car has all sorts of accessories, I would suggest it to be over-priced.

I am not sure what options are on the car. I had to stop into the dealer earlier today regarding a different car and he showed me this one. I will find out more, but he already called and dropped it 3k without me even starting to negociate. I am still not sure if I am ready to buy my first porsche yet since I have many things going on, but...it does seem like a good deal on a great car!

For some reason, I can't upload my pics. There are some pics floating around here of the murci at some meets/runs.

I'll try again a bit later to get some into this thread.

Kyle - those are standard equipment - not options.

Average wholesale (Black book) is est. 65k
So figure in their cars options along with costs and commissions plus a small profit when coming up with your offer to buy.

Lets see the options first (post the link, we can spot options by looking at it), if the car is clean and in outstanding shape maybe $70K is a steal. CPO is important and worth about $1-2K.

A friend of mine works at Paul Miller Audi. I just called him and left a message to see if he could get me some insider info on the car. I'll let you know when he calls me back, might be tomorrow.
