How much HP will stock bottom end take, etc.

Thanks...and sorry if this is a repeat, I did a couple of searches and didn't find what I was looking for.
Curious to know what the conventional wisdom is on the amount of boost and hp the stock TT bottom end will take.
Also, curious to know what the "general" HP is from a set of 16/24s w/matching ECU and 100 cell cats...where's that going to put you?

The general consensus is 600 to the wheels. Sam Shalala says 640 torque is the breaking point (more important as cause of rod failure than hp). Don't run more than 1.4 bars of sustained boost, that is fo sho.
The key is proper tuning. There are some Protomotive cars pushing 700 to the wheels on a stock block. I am considering upgrading to the proto fuel system and gettiong close to 700, but I am concerned about my rods.
ECU and exhaust will get you no where near limits of bottom end. Not even close.

Doesnt Suman have a stock block and isnt he putting more than 600 to the wheels? Suman if you could chime in that would be greatly appreciated and what fuel are you using, out here in San Diego we unfortunately only have 91 at the pump.
I would say 650 rwhp on C16 only. 600 rwhp on 103 octane

700whp on stock bottom end unless your over 40k miles where your rods are the weak link. Also this is assuming your running cool afr's and race fuel. I put a healthy 720whp down and I beat my car daily. But only with 104 unleaded here.
