MidnighTT is infamous around these parts
I'm working with a local fabricator on an exhaust for my car. Why? I like to make things, or at least cause things to be made where welding is involved, and I figure we can make a few mistakes and still come in under the $2500 and up prices I see for these systems. I've found that I prefer the sound of systems with a balance pipe between the banks, whether it's a pcar 6, 'murcan V8, or fcar 12. So...

I think I'll have him clone this approach, but with an x-pipe crossover where the 2 banks get close together. Has anyone seen/heard an exhaust like that?

18.8 lbs is so light. Light aftermarket SS mufflers are 6 lbs alone. Looks like the system has 2 mufflers, 2 resonators and cats. You didn't use the scale your wife is checking her weight on, have you?

That color is permanent. Titanium turns that color with heat. You just need to find titanium tips.

GMG's WCGT exhaust. ~$5k, if I remember correctly. Broken link from their site:

Also available in dual single-walled tips per side.

Thanks, Sallymobile - that's it! The only change I'm picturing is a flex connection to at least one of the turbos.

I doubt it. You may want to call Vivid Racing and check on the weight of the JIC titanium one.

Even if it's not quite as light, at least the piping is 80mm.

My Remus and many exhausts I have seen for the TT have a connection between the two banks.
