Titanium Exhaust installed

My titanium exhaust finally arrived. extreamly light 18.8lbs compared to the factory 58.8lbs. shaved off about 40lbs. Quality and fit are perfect. took 30 min. to install after the stock exhaust was cooled. Not too aggressively loud during normal driving, and sounds like a beast when you floor it. will post sound clip later. looking for a 4 wheel dyno.. anyone know of one in the LA area.

Link to photos below... enjoy..

Looks very similar to the DesignTek one. DesignTek probably just private labeled those Medellin ones.

i know that titanium is light and all , but it tends to crack in due time cause it does not dissapate heat well. thats what i was told when my groupe M kept cracking.

Aren't those bends present inside most mufflers anyway?

Actually, these are BETTER than inners of a muffler since it allows for a smooth directional transition as opposed to a 180 turn within a more restricted area.

Depends on what kind of mufflers. A lot of mufflers are straight through.

Besides, most mufflers use mandrel bends internally, not straight piping with welded kinks.

That's how you have to do it with Ti I've been told.

Doc's spot on though, lot of bends. Hope it sounds good at least!

Interesting! Do you know the website for the Japanese tuner?

I am in Japan and I haven't heard of it!
