Thank you to Pierre996TT

I would like to thanks Pierre996TT for his hospitality during my visit with him in his home town (Viña del Mar, Chile) last month during one of my business trips. He picked me up in his beautiful Speed Yellow ’01 996TT (see some pix attached) and them we went to his apartment building to see the Cayenne. We drove around in the Cayenne, beautiful surroundings. We have some lunch in a fantastic Italian restaurant, pasta and vine, of course. Then, back to his apartment building, we when to the top of the building to see the fantastic view (see some pix from Pierre’s front beach-view apartment), Viña del Mar beach. Then, we drove the 996TT again and went to his manufacturing facility were I took some pix of his car and his new headers (see pix included).
Again Pierre, thank you very much for spending Saturday afternoon talking Porsche.

No, I did not know Pierre pre-6Speed. We talked in 6Speed, mail, phone, but this was the first time I meet him personally. Nice man and he know a lot about Porsches.

I briefly knew Pierre Pre-Chile, back when that car was running around here in Denver. Awesome car, and a heck of a nice guy too.

You welcome Sr Luis!

I had a heck of a good time here meeting such a gentleman with good sense of humor and a lot I could learn about it.

The only down side was that the day was not fully sunny; however, in this 4-5 hours we were able to see 3 Cayennes (S, Turbo S, etc), one 997 Cabrio, 2 Boxsters J ..and of course “some” Porsche talk.

As Porschespeeddem has mentioned, my car and myself were originally from Colorado but I move here for a few years to catch up a bit with today's economy, as well as to orientate/focus my investments here for a better future.

I purchased this car at Stevenson Colorado on 2004, great service and techs and in 2006 I took this car in a trailer, which I drove myself to LA, and I shipped to Chile. Since then, I amazed how big is the Porsche community here in Chile, great dealer Ditec S.A. and Posche Club activities.

I miss Colorado/US and I hope to come back soon, but as Sr. Luis recommended me: “when that time will come (return to US) you have to let go your baby 996TT here for a new owner” L very sad…but Sr. Luis is right, to be the only 996TT SY in the country (+ Stage 4 + Bodykit) the market will pay twice more that I would get on the US.

Thank you, very much for the compliments about the city and the car, which Stephen at Imagine Auto has been helping me to hock up this 996TT and we are in process of completion.

Once more, it was really pleasant to meet Sr. Luis!

and all the other 6speeders from time to time (D-UberCars, PorschePhd, Porschespeeddem)

Regards!

Pierre Andreani

Pierre,
My father said it was beautiful over there, but I had no idea. Love those buildings and your phenomenal view! Thanks again for showing my "El viejo" a good time!
