Uppgrades
Hello everybody,
After many months of rest in the garage my car is now down at RUF for some major uppgrades. I will provide you with some pictures as time goes. The car will be ready within 4-5 weeks. The uppgrades are:
Engine: RUF 3,8 Liter Conversion with 7400 rpm + EVO Intercoolers with Swain Coating + RSS Intake Plenum + Sportec air intake in cf with dual intakes + EVO Silicone Boost Hose Kit + EVO Diverter valves. When the engine is ready the engine dyno will show the result of the RSS Intake Plenum. This conversion usually dynos + 700hk without the extra stuff.
Gearbox: Oilcooling like the GT2/3, steel syncros on all gears, Paul Guard Limited Slip, EVO 300M axel kit, shifter mecanism/cables from cup car, aluminum flywheel, the rest of the internal stuff is also from the cup cars, motorsport gears with the following speed at 7400 rpm. 1/90 km/h, 2/130 km/h, 3/170 km/h, 4/210 km/h, 5/265 km/h, 6/315 km/h.
Rollcage: The car will have the RUF Integrated Roll Cage with extra removable side bars.
Intakes: The car will also have the RUF intakes which gives better cooling at lower speeds.
Suspension: I already have the Öhlins 3-way just changed the spring rate this year. 10 kg front and 17 kg rear. The rest of the suspension parts are from the cup cars or the RSR cars. No rubber in the suspension left.
Brakes: Performance Friction race disc for center lug. Porsche 6-piston front and 4-piston rear. Cargraphic brake cooling.
Wheels: BBS race wheel with center lug painted in all black like the car.
The rest: RUF front bumber, GT2 rear spoiler/deck, RUF mirrors, GT3 seats in cf/leather, RUF steering wheel in alcantara, RUF shifter in cf, RUF pedals, RUF floor mats, RUF instrument cluster and some more.
I hope you enjoyed the information. When the car is ready i will be testing the 0-100 km/h 0-200 km/h 0-300 km/h and the 60-130 miles. I will also have an official slip from the dragstrip.
/Peter

Sounds like a great project. I thought Ruf would only build and tune cars using exclusively their parts, and woud not integrate parts from other companies. I hope the package works out well. What turbos are you using?

Sounds like your car will be a monster! Good luck!
Since I am one of the owner of RUF in Sweden I wanted to use mostly RUF but RUF could´t offer everything I wanted so EVO was a good solution. Hopefully the products I have added to the conversion will gain the performance some. Time will tell.

This car will be a killer, sounds like a great project.
Pictures please when you get a chance!
RUF still keeps it a mystery in regards to who does their actual tuning (it is not done in house is my understanding).

Ond after de tuning Hanz and Franz will pummel all u girlie men about the head and shoulders.
Remember: If you do not pump u are a loooser...ond loosers live in da garbage can! Maybe we should stretch your flabby buttocks between 2 trees and make a flabber-hammock out of you.
That was one of my all time favorite SNL routines.

Dr. Jitsu,
Your odd brand of machismo and humour is actually growing on me,

I think Alois' tuner is actually his buddy down ze street who (also) owns
the beautiful small batch brewery called, STORCHENBRAU.
