Anyone have any idea who this guy is? What am I missing? If you look at his feedback, he's been around for a while.
Obviously, no one out there is "buying" his offer as there's no bids.
Can't figure it out?

Wouldn't you know it? Ebay took it off.
I wish I saved the damn thing for all to see because these scam artists are somehow getting better and better all the time.
I'm telling you, w/ the exception that the price was too good to be true, the auction itself look damn good. The seller had 186 positive feedbacks from the past several years.

were they for cars or big ticket items? Its pretty easy to accumulate feedback by selling 10 cent pencils, cupholders, etc.
My wife had this happen to her e-bay account last year. Someone was able to hack into the account and post 5 wide screen TVs for sale at $4-6K each. She has over 1200 feedback over 7 years and the ads were well done, so it looked legitimate; until we logged on and contacted e-bay that we had no TVs for sale. They removed them quickly but I don't know if they ever found out who or how it was done. Obviously it is still happening.

Below is an email recently sent to my email address that's just another phishing scam to try and get information.
Interestingly enough, if you hit the "mouseover" where it says view the dispute thread to respond, it takes you to a Russian or whatever language site. Unbelieveable.
