I think its funny that people have made comments about the Vette being a drag car. A ZO6 is a better handling car than the Turbo and every bit as good as a GT2 or GT3.
You talk about modded TT's, what if you start modding a ZO6? For a fraction of the price of Porsche mods you can make a ZO6 an even better car.
Porsche does more R&D? If you call carbon fiber fenders and composite floor boards plastic than the 911 is a tin can. Bottom line, Corvette is using advanced materials on their car and its faster than the car without them. Thats just good old fashion one upmanship.
They are both great cars but belittling the Vette will not make the Porsche a better car. IMO, saying anything negative about the Vettes perfomance prowess is just ignorant.
The fact that Corvette is closing the gap is great for all of us and if anything you should be happy that they continue to apply pressure on Porsche to make a better car.

Other than that, this is a porsche forum so you should expect chevy to get bashed, if your on corvette forum the opposite occurs, it's the way of life on the internet.

From your statement, it's obvious that you haven't driven, let alone tracked any of the 3. I have and I can tell you that your supposition is incorrect.

You will find less people here that are blinded by brand but for the most part you should expect brand loyalty in threads like these, I'm not the type but you will se it here like you will everywhere else and complaining about it wont change anything, I tired.
