How come no spanked Z06's ?

All I am saying is that your car traps at 136, which is impressive. A stock C6 Z06 traps at 125. With a H/C/Bolt on set up and a tune, the car will trap right about what you are trapping. In knowing that, you are telling me that you "destroyed" a H/C/Bolt on tuned Z06 even though that would put you two at very similar trap speeds. It just doesn't make sense even if you do show a video.

He certainly wants to kick some *** and I actually think he can do it, I just don't think he is spanking the Z or walking him like he says. Big difference between that and pulling a car length on someone IMO but still a win.
I don't know how fast a heads/cam/exhaust/tune C6ZO6 is. However, since the discussion seems to be focusing on modded ZO6s, my friend is currently building an APS TT C6ZO6. More importantly, he is doing it right, including a comprehensive build of the engine, with lower compression, at a cost of $24,000, before adding the two turbos and supporting equipment. His target is a conservative 850 RWHP, and I suspect he will get there (with room to spare). For those who read Corvette Forums, hs moniker is Vindication, and his project is well known. I doubt there are many 996TTs that can keep pace with an 850 RWHP TT C6ZO6.
What is my point??? No real point, other than that once you introduce the variable of modifcations, the analysis becomes entirely mod dependant and, whereas one modded 996TT may be able to defeat a particular modded C6ZO6, that same modded 996TT will not be able to defeat a different C6ZO6 with additional mods, and vice verse, and etc etc. Of course, I am merely stating the obvious. At the end of the day, the larger displacement C6ZO6 has greater upside potential for generating HP (again, merely stating the obvious).

I didn't say z06 owners . I've never "had a z06 whip my ***". And lastly sir, I buy the 911 series car because I open lap, auto cross, and drag the on a weekly basis. It has nothing to do with coffee shops or any of that other fancy crap. You have cleary missed the point I was making.
