It's obvious that you have limited knowledge about drag racing and DA. I'll compare the 10sec Z06 run that you like to worship...here's his slip:

Notice the date and location, then notice the DA -850. Are you kidding me? We NEVER see those conditions here in AZ. Also notice his 60'.
Here's a slip from my car on a similar ET:

Notice the difference in ET and 60'? He would have jumped me out of the hole and then I would have reeled him in and passed the hell out of him. BTW...the DA that day was +2980'.
So all things being equal...now do you still think that it's the driver?

Wow. Any of us can sell our TT and buy a Z06 today. Why the fear?

PS. that would be like saying stock E46 M3's are 12.4 second cars stock, because Lee Mathews made a 12.4@110+ pass on his stock motor M3, but in reality, we all know stock M3's are lo 13 second@104-105 cars.

Wow, all these keyboard races between the Porsche and the Vette and the Vette still wins. Funny how some people can't accept the FACT that the Porsche MUST be modded to even start to compete with the Z06. A car made in America at a cost of half of the Porsche and a list of TSB's much much shorter than the Porsche.
Porsche makes a great car for what it is, but as far as power goes, it is lagging behind the Vette and as far as handling goes, only 1 flat-6 Porsche can barely beat it around the track. It is a true sports car, unlike the TT's that have training wheels.
If you are looking for the best performing car, you have an easy choice....mod the hell out of your Porsche or buy a Vette.
If you are looking for a safer touring sedan with leather, and training wheels, then you should get TT. The oil companies will be happy if you buy the Porsche.
