clear vs amber side markers GT2

Admittedly this thread is ho-hum compared to 'vette bashing.
Every GT2 I have seen and in pictures has clear/smoke front side markers. Can someone post a close-up photo that shows the markings? Are the Hella? Looks like the TTs got amber markers from factory. Thanks. Trying to maintain originality.

Thanks everyone. Anyone have a GT2 that came equipped with amber side markers? I would have expected all USA cars to be amber, but it seems not the case.

The smoke ones are really cheap, very easy to swap and are readily available from the dealer.

I don't think there's any need to have a big long thread about something so simple.

Smoke looks nice, smoke is cheap, smoke is easy, smoke is available.

Just do it.

Ron, all US 911 (997, 996, 993, and others) came with amber side markers. That is the DOT regulation. But, everybody, including me changed them to the clear ones (ROW). They looks better.
Regards,

Thanks Luis Sr. That was my understanding....DOT specs amber for USA. Thanks for photo Jeff. The amber lenses have same Hella markings. Helps satisfy minor concern of authenticity of parts.

We carry the oem clear/smoked as well. Easy swap on the car.
