Just finished the install on the GT3 seat mounting bracket by Akkurat to hold the billet mount Safecraft 2.5lb Halon Fire extinguisher. Special thanks to George at Akkurat and DBlessing...

 

Another view. It's a little tight getting to the bolts, but the seats don't need to be removed. Tilting the shell of the seat back by removing the front bolts that hold the shell in along with loosening the rears, does the job.

 

What was the total damage for this setup? It looks very clean nice safe mod!

 

Just a little north of 400...The bracket is aroung $90. It's the FE and billet bracket that makes up the majority of the cost...

Edit: Only works with GT3 seats...not sport seats....

I have seen his warehouse. There are PSS9's lying around in his office, GT3 seats lying on the floor, and pretty much every other mod you can think of to have for the 996 TT. Its like mod heaven.

PS: You should have came out to the meet. Stephen came out with his 996TT, a 512TR was there, and a bunch of other great rides. I will post pics soon.

 

I really do have a problem. I have so much stuff laying around here, it has to be some kind of tuner wanna-be record. Well over $20k in mods and no car! I'm hoping to begin the installs in three weeks, when I finally get my freakin car!.
