Looks real to me. There are more than a few in the US. I saw one a few weeks ago at a local car club.

 

It's more than likely real...Bruce Canepa has some US legal ones for sale on his website too I think..at least he did at one time.

He had more than one too..so they will start showing up more and more I bet.

Yes this guy shows up at CC every once in awhile... that shot was taken in Carona del mar a couple miles north of the Crystal cove car show. It is in mint condition!

I'll put money on saying that it is the same car.

 

What a timeless piece. I hate to admit it but I would loose the TT if I could pull one of those off in a heartbeat. They are still one of the best looking cars Porsche ever built. Funny how much that car lead the way technology wise for where are cars are today.

 

With a Post Subject like: Real or Fake I was expecting something a little more like this!

I spoke to Canepa 4 days ago and they currently have 16 959's in stock.

truely a Porsche masterpeice.

 

Anyone know what Canepa wants for his modified 959's? One of my relatives is buying a modified E55 from him...

Last I heard there are 10 to 13 real 959 in the U.S. I have personally come across 3 at a Local Dealer (Keuylian Motorcars in Beverly Hills they specialize in hard to find exotics).
