I'm thinking of adding a roll bar to my car. I'm about 6'2 with the normal seats, hence, I need to sit with the seat bottom all the way back. Will the roll bar interfere with this? Also, if I am able to move the seat back to this position, will there be a possibility of hitting my head on the bar in an accident (knock on wood)?

Is it reasonable to install the Autopower bar for track days, then pull it out the day after? I don't mind spending an hour or so on each part.

Install it and then remove the harness bar and diagonal bar. Then you just have the hoop which is not in the way at all. Have it done in black and you will not even notice it. Not bad for $500ish..

 

How tough is the install?

 

About 5 hours. Need delicate hands, patience, and a drill. Comes out very clean when your done.
