Will anyone ever post a 9 second 1/4?

You're comparing a racecar to a street car.

Thanks for the lesson though, I have only been racing for 8 years now.
BTW my "street car" weighs 2550, full interior (carpeting, seats, dash, etc). So a car, if done correctly, doesn't need to be a "race" car to weigh in at sub 3000lbs. Get creative.

I have read again every post from Markski and cannot see where he might have insulted anyone, he simply mentioned that he did not have the resources that a tuner has to push the envelop further. Whether the car is a "tuner car" or not does not change anything from the run and the success, and he did not disqualify it either. Now we are questioning the "style" of the congratulations? It is very funny, but sad.
You guys should your horses a bit, and don't loose perspective over who is behind these keyboards, it is the same people who were here yesterday and supported you in private about x or y, or shared your or their successes.
Even the tuners/friends, who are the interested parties, did not behave the way you are after the shootout, and it is their business at stake, not yours, no one got personal or attacked the other. Maybe if there is a lesson to be learnt from them , this is the one?
What a shame.
p.s. Markski, you owe me big time :

I find it puzzling. Also, can you calculate the max tq possible from EVOMS car using your BMEP formula....amazing how a car can run 150+ with so little TQ... Cheers, Kevin
JEan, Kevin, Nick, Joe, Craig... anyone else I left out... we all are friends here... seriously... I had a lot of support from you guys... I will not forget that. Lets not keep beating this to the ground... it is Evoms day and we should let them have it. No I am not sour... I actually told KPG a few weeks ago that the 10.03 is fine even if I do not brake 9s first...
I personally know now what it takes to run these times. Honestly, I do not think I have it in me to do it. I do not have the backing to take it to the next level.
It is summer here in Chicago, I really want to enjoy my car for the next 4 months. I have not driven it for 3 months due to my quest for 9s... its my only Porsche and I want it in one piece.
sincerely,
mark

KPG,
How could I possibly think you speak badly of Mark, I know you are his true friend, and also my hero.
Despite how misguided and misinformed I always am compared to your mighty knowledge, I think I can calculate the BMEP for the EVOMS car, if you try, maybe you could too.
I love you free country speech BTW.

Since this thread is about 9 second runs, here goes another 9.7 second quartermile run at 152mph trap. This is for you Juan.

Thank You, Nice Car!
Not to take anything away from anyone
I don't think people realize how small the Porsche Drag racing community is, MANY times we know the numbers before the driver even gets his/her time slip.
So I can only assume that the "Scanner" is not working properly today, tomorrow I expect a time slip/video.
