new car

i just bought a 996 tt with 18000 miles its an 02 and i paid 56000 which was a bomb *** deall..... but im worried coz i am getting .7 bar boost and the car is stock.....is that low boost..... whats normal on these cars... thanx guys

I bounce to 0.7 and usually run at 0.6 on the stock gauge, but it's well known that the factory gauge is garbage (does not measure actual pressure, but derives pressure based on airflow). Seems like anything around 0.6-0.7 is fine.

So you just bought a 996TT and you HAVE a 997TT...planning on tracking the 996? BTW as said above .6-.7 is normal for stock (non-S/X50) 996TT.

ya i am going to make my 996tt a complete beast becasue i really dont want to get into warranty problems with the 997tt so im just gonna take it easy with that...... and when the 997 runs outta waranty then i will mod the **** outta it..... but as of now, i gotta find someone who can do me a rear wheel drive conversion and install my coilovers, i just picked up some used pss9s from my buddy .... i will pst pics soon

no no no those are just the favorite toys that i have owned...... i have had many cars in my past time, i have my gallardo still and my 997tt that i just picked up a week ago, it was an ordered car, i traded the m6 for the 997 tt and i wanted a fun track car so i came along a great deal on my new 996tt so i went for it..... i am going to get a gt3 eventually also
