Great sounding mods - the only one missing it seems is a short shift. Does the car already have one?

As far as the tires are concerned, I ordered the Conti's with my 542r's. The 285's in my opinion looked a bit stretched out on the rear wheel. They should get here tomorrow (!!!) so I'll post pics as soon as it's possible.
I actually forgot about the Short Shift till now. Thanks for the reminder, but I am going to wait a bit. I wanna make sure I don't like the stock throw first, and I want to get used to the car first.
Regards,
Evan

ooohh don't worry, you will not like the stock shifter "throw". May as well beat the rush and order the B&M quick shift now... so that you don't run out of projects too fast

Evan,

Trust me, you won't like the normal throw. Feels rubbery and imprecise when compared to the B&M. Can't wait to see pics!

Are you talking about the B&M that is a 50% reduction? I heard thats too much, and becomes very notchy, and tough. Are there any better ones??

Evan - lets just sya the TT and boxstr share the same useless plastic stock shifter...The B&M is a 30% reduction I think and is the best SSK IMO out there for the TT!! You can get them fro cheap on ebay (there is only one for both 996 and boxster p/n 45135)...
Go get it!!
