WANTED: GT2 & GT3 for Magazine PhotoShoot - with MODELS!
WANTED: GT2 & GT3 for Magazine PhotoShoot - with MODELS!
I am the Creative Director of a new Central Florida based magazine, Down Shift. I am NOT here to sell anything or solicit any money or items.
I am in need of a GT2 and a GT3 for a photoshoot in Tampa, FL on this Wednesday, April 7th, 2004 at 4:00pm. Two of our out-of-state models are coming into town on a short term basis, and we need to step up the date for our main Feature shoot for our next issue. We are trying to spotlight these 2 cars on an 8 page full color feature in our magazine.
We distribute around Florida, as well as mail out to 32 total states. We publish 6 times a year, and are currently needed two cars for the Feature in our May/June issue.
I am very sorry this is such late notice, but it has been late notice for us all!
I have managed to orchestrate 2 photographers, some of my support staff and 2 models to attend for that date and time. You would be furnished with a CD of all the photos taken at the shoot, as well as any prints you want of any of the photos taken. (We shoot in all digital) We also mail you copies of the magazine's issue that you would be spotlighted in.
If you are interested and are able to participate in this date and time set, PLEASE feel free to email me (Creative@DownShiftOnline.com) or call my cell phone at (813) 416-9776.
If you are interested, please email me pictures and your availability, as well as your contact information, so I can let the model know this is a go.
THANK YOU!!

We also recently covered your event in Orlando, FL. It will be in the next issue arriving from the printer in 1 week. I'll post a PDF of it when I get home.

slightly off topic but does anyone else cringe when they see pictures of exotic cars with women sitting/laying on them?? I mean, sure the girls are generally alright looking (not usually super hot) but damn, they all must weigh between 100-130 lbs with at least 10 usually being in the chest region. Why would anyone let a 130lb weight rest on their car??? Even if the weight was in the form of a decently hot chick
P.S. they generally have deadweight personalities as well.

Yes, usually the models weigh around 100-120. But if you look at some of our photos, they hardly lay or rest a large percentage of their weight on the car, especially a really nice car. I also bring nice soft towels to clean off anything undesirable, and usually some cleaning supplies if the owner doesn't have any.
The whole staff are huge appreciators or cars, and we try and make the model as well as the car owners comfortable. The cars are usually too hot to lay upon anyways...
Thanks for all the interest everyone!
-Also, we are doing a cars who mod their own cars article for the next issue...so we're always looking for women with their own butt-kickin cars as well.

offroadr, the weight is generally pretty well distributed between feet/butt/hands and when working with professionals the owner of the car is usually there and can at any instant step in if he feels there will be any damage done in a certain pose. Of course there is always risk involved when placing any object on your car, whether it's a soda can or hot lady, but getting national print recognition usually outweighs the risk. Just my $.02

I could talk to one of my guys to see if he want to bring his up....
Its not a GT2, but has the wing and a new front also....here is a picture(the only thing different is he added a new hood...)
Let me know if you are interested, I can pitch it to him
Cheers

Offroadr, you must be the ultimate Porschephile. While the rest of us are salivating at the model and figuring how we might make the wed. date (from as far away as NC), you are thinking about some body part inappropriately touching your body panel. I love it. Talk about restraint and sophistication. Are you British by any chance?
