[VID] My 996TT vs. Stg3. S/C M3

The M3 is a Stage 3 A/A SuperCharged car with approx 470 RWHP on pump gas. I was running 100 octane race gas and boosting at 1.3 bar. The Kreisseig Exhaust valve was not hooked up on the M3, so he couldn't run with the valve open. We will be getting together for a rematch soon. Anyway here's the vid:

Nice job, Awais.

I remember the "Stage 2" TT that raced the yellow Stage 3 M3 a while back and lost. But of course, that "Stage 2" car was probably the slowest Stage 2 TT on the planet.

All due respect to that particular M3 and it'a owner, with or without race gas....he has absolutely no chance.

What kind of exhaust do you have? And what's the power like on pump gas? Thanks!

Umm not fair at all, why didnt you run pump gas to make it a little more fair at least? Talk about a huge jump in that 1st race.

How come my stg 3 M3 ran a 123 mph trap speed while a 996tt stg 3 runs a 117 at the same track?

To be honest we see lots of differences between FI M3's, some are pretty quick and some are slow.

A stg 3 996TT runs 116mph traps at LACR, while my car would run 121-123mph traps.

That M3 HP quote is bogus, its not making 470rwhp especially not on pump, maybe on race gas (adapted) if its setup right.

the driver must have sucked. My stage II runs a 122 trap.

Because I always run race gas in my car; I guess I could have run him on low boost but why would I handicap my car for a RACE? From what I know, a stock X50 traps 117-118 MPH. Regardless, it's a race....and since when do races have to be "fair"? Both, myself and the M3 owner, were expecting the 996TT to pull on the M3, so no surprise there. I offered to run on low-boost (1.1 bar) but we ran out of time. Don't worry, we'll have a rematch soon.

Haven't dynoed it, but yes, it should make ~530 AWHP

I'm running the Agency Power exhaust. I haven't dynoed the car, so have no clue how much power it would make on pump gas at 1.1 bar.

The driver is posting on this thread and i doubt he sucks, rather its the track that sucks. My car should have trapped around 127mph but trapped 123 at that track.

I see so you were in high boost race mode as well? Thats a great comparison, you guys know the outcome yet you want to make it worse just to look good? I thought this was a friendly race?

Regardless if you guys ran the same gas without race modes (since the M3 doesnt have one) it would have been a more interesting race to watch (you would still win).
