Question problem with 100 cell cats?

I have heard from a few sources that the 100 cell race cats do not last as long as the standard 400 cell cats. Has anyone had this problem with the 100 cell cats?

Had 'em for ages. Never had any. I had a CEL once when the dealer did the original install and now Kevin figured out what it was (a loose 02 sensor) so basically I've never had any issues. I do the installations myself now...

Sharkster,

On a different note, does the tiptronic transmission need any modification for around stage 1 ~ stage 2 level power? I don't plan to track the car, just short bursts on the streets.
