First and foremost what type of fuel are you running. And which turbo's does the FVD Stage 4 package utilize?

Octane and fueling (air/fuel mixture) are the biggest part of your question.
You dont just "turn up the boost" unless you want to join DMKaboom and the
gang...

On 93 you are at max boost (1.2, 1.1 would be safer) regardless of fueling system

You have a nice system, run it as it is designed or Change it entirely.

Good luck!

To some extent, there are safety systems built-in to protect from over boost...DVs, wastegates and ultimately the ECU. If you are in an over-boost situation, your Throttle body will shut down and car will go limp to protect it (I think around 1.35). Also need to recognize that you start going beyond "useful" boost when the turbos are maxed out (e.g., 1.1 on 16K). 1.2 sounds about right.

I had the saem fvd set up as u did.
I turned up the WGs.... and even used boost controllers.... but u dont need it.
Im not sure ur stock WGs will hold 1.3 bars sustained. do a search as to how to do it. its online here... for someone to expalin it in detail will take some time. warning , if u screw up the adjustement u may create an unbalanced boost setting due to the two WGS.... so one may boost more then the other... be very careful ....

Does the stage IV use the stock waste gates? If so you need to upgrade them, if not then you could tighten them bit, but as I already said...1.2 is great!

If he gets them upgraded then he will have nightmares installing and more importantly adjusting them so they dont hit the magical 1.3 bars and shut down the TB. I have seen many guys upgrade the WGs- liek I did b4... and ended up frustrated becasue I had a hard time setting it up so on colder days they dont casue the car to go into limp mode...
the best solution is a boost controller with upgraded springs so that way can controll the WGs from the inside of u car... but thats a whole different animal ... and I do not recommend just anyone trying,....

To all of you with FVD-upgrades:
How does your car compare with other tuned 996tt's?
Have you had your cars on dyno?

I have a stage III FVD 540 HP, with K24/24, and I'm wondering if my boost is allright..
Most of the time I see max boost att 1.0, sometimes at 1.1.
Other than that my car runs beautiful and smooth with no strange sounds or anything.

Thanks!
