Alright guys I just got the k24 and the ic put into the car. Now it seems that my exhaust got louder and I have ummph when I initially hit the gas? Havent got a chance to dyno the car yet because the tuner's dyno is broken but I will post results asap.

 

yeah my exhaust note was noticeably louder after installing larger turbos. I also noticed an improvement in sound after having bigger headers installed.

 

i did not notice a difference when i added the k24s.

i might see a difference after i do the headers and vflow this weekend...

When you say "improvement," do you mean louder? I recently upgraded my stock exhaust to a Cargraphic Loud, but I'm not sure if the car is loud enough for me. I'm wondering whether adding headers will "up" the sound level.

I added EVO K24 headers and much larger turbos.

My EP2 quiet still cruises nice but becomes "enraged upon full accereleration!

It sounds very different but is hard to distinguish exactly because the turbos
whiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrl, the waste gates go puuuusssssssssssssshhhhhhhh and the
exhuast makes great sound at 7K RPMs.

which turbos did you end up going with?

 

hum well I got v-flow, fvd exhaust, new turbos, and gt2 ic. My exhaust got a much meaner tone now. Sounds kind of cool but I miss the old sound that it use to make. Now I feel like I am sitting in a race car. hahaha

 

I noticed an increase in exhaust volume at lower rpms. But it wasn't a huge difference. The biggest improvement was the turbo spooling sound. It's much more noticeable with the new headers.
