Which are the best spark plugs for 996 Turbo X50

I have a 2004 996 TT Cab X50 with 9200 miles. The car is totally modified. I am pushing 550hp. I am the second owner and the spark plugs have never been changed.

Which are the best spark plugs for my car? What does is cost to have them changed? Does anyone know anyone in the Los Angeles area that can replace them?

Thanks for your help.

Bosch FR6 LDC....Do it yourself, it isnt rocket science and you only need basic hand tools. I think a dealer will charge around 600$

Denso Iridium - work great with my non-X50 500HP Turbo.
The engine works much smoother than before.

I don't have any advice on what plug to use, but if you don't plan on doing them yourself. I completely stand behind my mechanic, Alex of Precision Tech in Marina Del Rey, phone's 310-822-4566, tell him Scott sent you. That's a very easy job and I doubt he'd charge you too much, nothing compared to the dealer. He's very honest and does great work. Another place you can have do your plugs would be site sponsor Lucent Motors, contact Arling http://www.lucentmotor.com/ Good Luck!

I am only aware of two tuners who have tested different spark plugs in 996TTs -- Protomotive and EVOMS -- and both separately determined that the Denso Platinums work best.
