Hello guys

UK member who has been lurking about, reading lots about your modded cars, some awesome cars!

I will be reading lots more and asking the odd question so I can get my car to the point where I am happy.

I recently picked up a 2003 TT in Meridian silver with aerokit, I have so far done the following:

Titanium exhaust
design tek air filter
changed my 18" Sport Techno's for GT2 wheels
Carbon steering wheel

I plan to do the following:

SSK
ECU re map
GT3 seats
suspension
lots more carbon
paint wheels grey (short term)
BBS racing wheels (long term)

just thought I would say hi!

Lee

Welcome Lee.

New on here myself and with a wealth of knowledge and information on the forum, there's some good reading when you've got some time to browse.

I see the mods are coming along nicely, have you had chance to get the GT2 Wheels mounted?

Thanks Fivelitre,

Put the wheels on today, much prefer them to the techno's even though they are a bit heavier. Was worried that the tyres might rub on the arches due to the larger width but all seems fine. Are the arched rolled on the GT2?

GT2 arches are rolled , however wheels are looking sweet in the pics posted but where are your centre caps?

Cars going to look sweet once you get her dropped a little.

Thanks

new centre caps turn up tomorrow hopefully.

Car definitely needs to be lower. I am thinking X73 or KWv3 which I had on my Z3 M Coupe.

Ideally would have loved a GT2 but budget will not allow yet.

do you track it?

KW's or PSS9's are the way to go for a good road/track setup.

Haven't tracked my car as yet, but hopefully once i've had a little fun in her this summer and added a few tasteful mods i'll be ready for the occasional track session next spring/summer.

What about you?

Drive safely.

Meridian Silver's a great colour Lee with the added benefit of its exclusivity.

GT2 Wheels look much more purposeful than the Sport Techno's you had previously.

Sean, thanks for posting the pics.

I had never seen meridian silver previously, sometimes looks silver, sometimes grey depending on the light.

How you rate the Design Tek Air filter as it has a foam and mesh combination ?
