We all knew that was coming!

Now do what I have done and stop drag racing (severly abusing) your car and enjoy it on the streets! Go terrorize some R1s or GSXR 1000s!

A 9 second car that you can drive daily, take to a road course and waste anything but straight out race cars (and maybe a few of them too) is truly unique. As you know most 9 second drag cars are tubbed out, stripped out, skinny front wheel, trailered drag only queens.

CONGRATS!!
Buddy,
I just wanted to say that was a great compliment! Oh, by the way, Mark, congrats! Now we are waiting on UMW!!! I hope every tuner (Mark, can I call you a tuner? LOL) keeps pushing the bar forward! Mark, I hope you can bring your car down to the Texas Jam!! I can drop my car off first then come up there and trailor it down if you like? Also, I wish Todd Z would show up to the Texas Jam!!! Come on, EVOMS, be a sponsor. That would make it perfect having two 9 sec turbos with all those supras...oh well for dreams :-)

Congrats!
Robert

All this talk about the Texas Mile has me intrigued, when is it and does anyone have any info for what they need to do for tech and safety? I'd love to see the EVOMS and Mark's cars there for this event. My guess is they'd have to change their gearing however. Does anyone know what the 996TT would top out at with stock gearing in these cars? I imagine in these high HP cars, stock gearing would hamper their top speed.

Congratulations bro, you have worked very hard and overcome many obstacles and engineering challenges to achieve this goal. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity as a spectator to watch it unfold. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. How about 0 - 117 mph in 6.5 seconds? Holy mother of god, that must feel like a jet taking off of an aircraft carrier.
