Cops let the kids go in LA?

In California it is a Felony to throw ANYTHING at a moving vehicle. They should not be letting them go. If there was damages you should have been asked if you were going to press charges.

Wow that is terrible! Some kids are punks. This happened to my 20 year old son a year or so ago in our neighborhood. He was driving his brand new Saab to go hang out with some friends when out of nowhere he heard about three loud thuds hit his side door! What happened next cracks me up everytime.

My son is athletic and is an intercollegiate track and field athlete. Talk about the wrong person to mess with! He immediately stopped his car, threw open his door in fury and started to sprint after them. They had a huge head start from what I could tell (they were across the street at a school near a fence.) The kids frantically started to run away and began to hop a huge fence. My son was gaining on them, he then hopped the fence and quickly caught one of them by the shirt. This kid was freaked out and kept begging him not to call the cops, his parents would kill him, etc. My son called the cops and had his parents pay for the damages done to his door. Some other neighbors eventually drove up and thanked my son for catching the culprits, apparently they had rocks, oranges, eggs thrown at their cars as well. Makes me laugh when I think about it.

I had a egg hit the hood of my C43 one nite. I went to a car wash to hose it off but then realized it had left spider cracks down to the primer at the point of impact. So much for thowing "harmless objects"

Well, glad that you and your family is safe and no one was hurt. Sorry to hear about the car...but it can be fixed. Also, these kids will get caught....Howard County cops are relentless.

Luckily no one got hurt, but as with you I felt violated and angry enough to commit capital punishment.
Where in the Hell were you at? Oakpark or Del Paso Heights... Man you gotta stay out of the hood especially if your driving a TT..
