I just can't see getting anything better than my Cobalt GT2. Maybe an F40 as an addition to the garage. The Stradale might be nice. A FULLY modified 993 TT for the track could be a consideration but the styling is starting to look a little old at this point.

I'm in for the long run too. I've already had mine for 7 months and plan on keeping at least a year, which is a long time for me. That is, unless something better comes along!

well,

i'm staying with gt2's and 3's until they have something better [i expect the 998 gt2 will do it] that tickles my chequebook. probably still change cars every 6 months or so...

but i've been in TT's since 97 and gt2's since 02 and gt3's since 8/03 so that's long term, right? [and porsches since 1986]

i even have a 993 TT again for the open road, and man what a stereo, reminds me what you dont get in a gt2... not that it's stock!

The colour cobalt blue is truly amazing to behold. It is fairly scarce and everytime I see a turbo or gt2 i salivate. I'm with you on the f40 -- though thats just crazy expensive. I can't see any other car in this class that would work as a daily driver. The turbo has seen just a tick shy of 7000 miles with me in 5 short months. been thinking a lot about the gt2 model, but until prices drop, I'll be rolling in the TT. my wife has a rule: you can buy as much as you want, you just can't sell . so for now I wait and watch.

Watt,

why the 993TT over the 996TT? just curious. BTW, i'm starting to warm up to white quite a lot lately, your car is awesome .
