Any tips on changing my gauge faces in my 04 TT

Hi all

I have wanted to change my gauge faces since well ever. I have bought a set of Gemballa Red face gauges for my 04 TT. I have changed faces on other cars and just curious if any of you have any tips for me. I think the biggest scare will be pulling the needles off ...Any tips would be Awsome..Thanks in advance
Paul

Take a picture of the gauge cluster before you take the needles off - this will help you when you go to put them back. Also - do NOT allow the shafts to turn once the needles are off - otherwise you will lose the proper locations.

If they turn, plug the cables back into the cluster and turn the ignition on. Then push the needles back onto the proper locations.

I've done it a few times - PM me if you have difficulties.

Rich

How about a how-to on removing the actual cluster? I have the MAcarbon surround but it's not obvious how to pull the existing. While doing this I want to add the rings and colred faces as well.

When you want to do the swap, call me and I can walk you thru it...its pretty strait forward, I will look for a DIY write up.
