autodynamica is probably the best option for you.
i have heard many good things and have spoken with the owner a few times.
they will probably do my suspension.
if you find a closer place let me know.
thx

There are a few good Porsche certified wrenches in Houston. ProTechnik, Viking Motorsports, C2 automotive, Matthews Auto, and even the West Houston Porsche dealership (ask for Don Irby). Quite frankly, I have never heard of Autodynamica in the more serious circles of Houston motorsports.
eclou,
Of what serious Houston motorsports do you speak? I hang with the 500 plus hp club and the 1000 plus cars here in Houston (one 900 whp TT and several Supras and Vipers).
Autodynamica is a GIAC distributor. They did my friends' car (a TT and a GT2) and they are very fast stage 4's. If you want one of the tried and tested GIAC packages, they are a good choice.
Protechnique is a good shop, but more oriented to NA track cars. Akram at west Houston is an excellent factory mech and can hook you up w/ protomotive.
If you are happy w/ 540 or so to the wheels I recommend a stage 4 from Autodynymica.

You also have the option of going to Racing Solutions (www.racingsolutions.com) which is now run by Jarrett Humphrey's who has tonsssssss of P-Car experience and is one of the best tuners out there.

I track mainly. Of the shops I know in town, some actually do some impressive work and others just do bolt ons and flash other peoples software. Places like Carboy and MTI can do hands on tuning and fabrication. I have never heard of Autodynamica, they might be great but they are hardly a household name here. If they are over boring and sleeving blocks, rebuilding heads and G50 trannies then hats off to them

Sean - I have NO clue, why don't you pick up the phone and call and ask him? He's a great guy and would take the time to talk to you in a heart beat. 281.752.9600

peter,
I have already made arrangments, as you know, to have Todd K. tune my car. Unless I hear first hand that Jarret has succesfully tuned many 996's I am not going to even start the conversation. Now if I had a Viper, he would definately be my first call.
