$79,900 03 996 Gt2.
Even with that many miles that is a good deal. Perfect project car. Drive it for a while then rebuild the motor and slap on a 750 whp package.

I have been tracking it for a while. I thought it started off at 89k, then 84.9k, and now 79k. I dont think it will sell at this price even though it is not a bad deal. The market is already soft on these vehicles add the much higher than normal mileage (when compared to other gt2's), the pending release of the 997 gt2, and you have a recipe for lowball offers on this vehicle.
It's a shame this car wasn't available back in February when I bought my car... The color combo is what I was looking for, and it's a GT2... The mileage doesn't bother me, and actually I see it as a plus!

Looks great, at least he drove the car. The dep hit is heavy on all 996s', my C4S had a sticker of 89k, 64k miles, MY03...sold at auction by pfs for 38k, another dealer sold it for 44k. Not sure whose hit was worse!
someone purchase the car for $65K please.... consider that for the parts alone you'd break even. you'd probably pay 20K for the motor, 3K for the seats, 30K for the rolling chassis, 3K for the wheels, etc... etc...
I like the idea of buying it and doing the mega-motor with a transmission & clutch refresh. that's still $100K all-in with new motor, upgraded turbos and etc... becomes a question of how much you want a high mileage anything...

probably what the car is actually worth.
