Spanked the sh*t out of a Modena & Diablo!

We took a late night drive to Scores last night, me in my Stage 4 Turbo, my buddy in his 99 Diablo and a brand new Modena, the Porsche left them both wondering what the hell just happened, I took the Modena so easily so many times on the way, by the time we got to scores he was crying like a little girl, the diablo hung in there but when push came to shove I took him every time.
All this performance at a fraction of the price of the other cars!

Thats great!!
Any idea what a stock TT would do against a a Modena?
My friend has a stock Modena, and wants to race me.

I have both cars

I think it would be real close!

The 360 seems a little faster but I think it would really depend on drivers .

Something to test and report back on!

The Turbo will beat a 360... 95% of tests that involve the two car, the Turbo wins,,,

I will do that in the next 2 weeks, my car only has 5k miles, and the divertor valves are in good condition, from what I can tell.

Thanks, I will report back once I do it.

Buy an insurance policy. Throw in a $500 Upsolute chip and don't tell your friend.

It's even better here in Colorado. With the altitude a normally aspirated motor loses about 20% of its power while a turbo loses more like 3%.

Good point.

And you guys sure do love all this straight-line stuff on the streets. Take it to a track and first see if you can beat all them FWD Civic guys.

For PPP, Modena 360 > 996 TT without a doubt.

As it sits now, the 2002+ Z06 is the best bang for the buck all-around performance car out there.
Yep, and if I bought sports cars based on a "bang for the buck" criteria I'd own a Z06...but that's not the criteria I use.
