Its all personal preference but I love the Fabspeed LOUD. At times though it would be nice to have a quieter system when I am crusing down the freeway or with a passenger. It is afterall the most powerful system out there other than custom or straight pipes.

The earlier generations of the Fabspeed exhaust tested very well for hp gains when ImagineAuto did an independent test (very impressive work, btw). this new generation 3 has a different design, twin cans, rather than one exhaust cannister. Fabspeed explained to me that this design change helped to eliminate the drone of the old system. I think that they traded a freer flow design, and more hp, for some drone on the old system. The twin cans are similar to the Cargraphic design, I believe. GHL also uses twin cans. The new generation was tested by Fabspeed and is supposed to produce healthy hp gains. I haven't dynoed my car before and after to know for certain how much. Call the manufacturers directly, they are all willing to spell out their value proposition. By the way, the performance exhaust may be the most satisfying mod you can get -- it pays dividends at idle.
