What to do with wheel take-off's

I like to get some feedback on what six-speeder's do with their OEM wheel take-off's. I'm thinking of putting them up on Ebay, but some have told me to keep them should I sell the car, I could put her back to original.
I'm running 19"s now and love'm. Someday I would like a set of 20"s just for beach days, and car shows. You thought's would be appreciated.

Keep Them

I keep all my OEM parts in storage, in case I decide to sell later. Plus if I sell the car, I will have better negotiation power with buyer.

I would keep them, I sold the ones off my c2 and then sold the car, didnt add anything to the price and probably made the buyer pool smaller. In short you can get 3k for the wheels when you sell it and have a bigger pool of buyers. Not everyone wants a modded TT (dont know what they are thinking...)

put your track tires on the stockers, and use the custom wheels for the road - or vice versa

I would keep them. I just bought a car after a 3 month search and passed on every one with aftermarket wheels where the owner or dealer didn't have the original wheels. I didn't feel like screwing around trying to find the right wheels after buying the car.

Keep them, it's an absolute nightmare otherwise. I ended up selling my aftermarket rims a while ago and had to rebuy the oem's because i wanted the car back to stock.

Thanks everyone for the take-off feedback. I had em' on Ebay for $1800, while many looked, no one bought. Lucky for me, as now I'll just put them in away. It's always good to have a backup set..that little inflatible donut they call a spare it for last ditch purposes only.
