The Cars have not arrived in the U.S. yet but the first batch of cars arrive later this year. Right now my dad has one of the first 30 cars comeing to America, but we are not sure if we are going to get it.

I'm pretty sure I saw it at the MB dealer near Champion Porsche in Feb. It's in the private stash area.

4800 lbs, enough said! 55 engine can't be handled by the chasis. I refrain from buying any MB until they can build a driver's car instead of a porky highway cruisers that handle like **** and have the trademark MB numb non-communicative steering.

 

You better get more than bigger turbos, I spoke to a friend in Germany, his brother works for AMG. They were getting 0-60 runs in 3.3sec, some are saying car needs to be slowed down.

 

i don't see the point of SL65, not to mention the MSRP will be above 150K area.

put it this way, the car has crazy power, but the hardtop will not hold the stress of the huge power & torque and will eventually become noisy. i say this because i have a 55.
