Very nice....I better get larger turbos if im going to have some fun with that! I had a nice little run with an SL55 the other day on a wide open road with NO ONE Around (for you guys who frown upon driving fast on public roads) and there was no need to downshift as I just pulled away with ease. The driver pulled up afterwards, smiled, nodded and waved in defeat.

I believe I saw that model at the MB dealer behind Champion Porsche when I was down there in the middle of Feb. I think they were asking a pretty good price for it. If you go there, it's in the back near the dealer's owner private collection. Love to have one myself. Super nice Supercar.

according to the manager of AMG Germany there is none SL65 sold to customer in the states yet. all the ones out there are just for testing purpose.

they say they had to seriously detune it to save the tranny. Just shows you what there is to unleash in that beast.
