Just looking to purchase a TT, and didn't know if there was anything in particular to look out for within the 2 years... I would rather pick up an 02, but the prices are kind of heavy on the pockets, so searching for an 01 for now.

Can anyone inform me on the differences between the years other than the obvious warranty issue?

And what is a good price on a 01, $77-$80?

the 01's have those damn bumper pieces

 

Not all 01s have them, only early production 01s do.

 

02's will soon suffer in price as they start to exit their warranty time. There are very few differences. I also recommend doing a search and take your time to get the right one for you
