OEM Turbo/GT2 Wheels

Does anyone have any experience with mounting the OEM GT2 wheels on a stock Turbo? Do you have to roll the rear fenders as I know the GT2 wheels are an inch wider?

The front should be fine in a 235. The rears require a bit of rolling with anything beyond a 305.

They are not fine for all TT's with all respect to the good Doc...Some cars it works fine some it doesnt. Mine is one of those cars where it did not work fine and actually cut the outer shoulder at the roadcourse...not good. Now Tom has an aftermarket suspensuin and from what I have noticed is those with GT2 "type" suspension settings have a better time since ther is more neg camber and the top of the tire tucks under the fender. If you are just poking around town they will be fine since there isnt a whole lot of compression. I would be very careful at the track with stock suspension. Kevin

Kevin, you make a good point and I guess I didnt say enough. Yes the GT2 wheels are ok almost on any suspension setup "poking around town"
For hard driving negative camber and stiff suspension is required.
just before my suspension change went by old suspension was shot. the 315's rubbed holes in the wheel well liners due to so much suspension travel.
New suspension and same wheel tire combo and no rubbing.
Thanks Kevin for setting it straight.

can you use the 295 turbo tyres on the GT2 12J's with no issues?
