misfire

P0305.. cyl 5 misfire.

It happend under boost I got the blinking CEl and started running like crap. I backed off quick and CEL went off, smoothed out.

Should I just change the plugs and clear it out (code) or should I just take it to the dealer?

just curious- how many miles do you have on your car? I just had my ecu flashed and car has 25k mi and original plugs. I haven't had any problems yet, but i'm wondering if i should change my plugs before 30k miles.

change the cylinder 5 coil pack( right side of engine facing it middle coil). I bet that fixes yoru issue. GL

PS go to a shop with a guy with small hands. You will not have to take everything off to get to this coilpack.

aboslutely just dont get on boost or itll break up. I blew a coilpack and go the same code. Cross your fingers but Im pretty positive this will fix your issue. If you want to go a step further replace all your coilpacks and plugs but I think your fine.

You go from 5 plugs (colder) to #6 hotter.

That was my problem. I have since replaced all coil packs as a preventative
measure.
