Is this ad from Ebay real or a scam?
I recognize this car from a member here or at one of the other Porsche forums. What caught my attention was that the seller is out of the US and the car is in NY.
Anyone know this car and owner?

Maybe I'm just cynical, but the ebay ad says, "It has had no minor or moderate accidents" If a car has had no accidents whatever, the seller would, it seems to me, make that unequivocal statement. A salvage title would not contradict his representation. Caveat emptor!!
It's a common ebay scam, deposit a down payment to an out of the country bank. There's no way to recover your money.

got this response from him ...
See below for his response. I have deleted my email information. So, we have:
1. An aol email account.
2. Out of the country
3. no eBay feedback -- new user
4. Claims to have taken the pictures himself (?!? -- see danTT's web page for the originals)
This screams SCAM.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your reply.
I have forwarded my pictures at 2 brokers so they can find me a buyer, maybe they have a webpage, and you saw the car there!
This is a genuine offer, check the VIN number!
Let me know if you are interested and what is your target price, maybe we can deal.
Have a great day.
Sincerely,
Claude Deflandre
