  • You are feeling locked and loaded at this point
  • Start her up
  • Give her some gas
  • Put it in gear
  • Pull to the exit of the gas station
  • Let ALL traffic pass and then wait for a little bit giving yourself ENOUGH room for some fun
  • RIP out of the gas station, WIDE OPEN THROTTLE
  • WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  • Drive the ever living **** out of your car to enhance the experience
  • BACK ON EMPTY!
  • Fill back up with 100 octane AGAIN and REPEAT from Step 1
I pretty much follow the same steps with one exception

I usually do too... but it sucks when you are somewhere you don't know, and your fuel light has the ominous glow of death, and you HAVE to stop at the next gas station.

Personally, I'd never fill up with race gas at a pump....too much opportunity for water to get mixed in....

Race gas at the pump risks much evaporation and compromise during the hauling portion of its life. Race gas in a drum is the way to fly.

Man, I'm SO jealous! 5gal drum of VP109 is 70GBP here. $28 a gallon. A gallon of BP102 (MON) is like $20 a gallon. It blows.

On the bright side I think my shipment gets here this weekend. Time for the RACE FILE - can't wait!!!

Curious to know, are you guys worried about the race fuel you are using with the program in your cars? Is it programed for unleaded or leaded? Is it programed for oxygen enrich or not? For example, My car was specifically tune for VP109 since it can be purchased by the barrell :-)
