Gary,
A 1/2 in drive is all you should need. Make sure you get the twist type that clicks when you reach your torque limit and not the balance bar type. I got mine from the hardware store, goes to 150 ft/lbs, and cost about $50.

Never use a TQ wrench to loosen the nuts/bolts - use a bar like the Gorilla thingamajig - otherwise you damage the TQ wrench and throw it off calibration. When tightening , do it in steps of three, like 35/65/96 lbs. Recheck in a few hundred miles after remounting wheels .
remember if you use an impact wrench to tighten, it must have a clutch setting for low torque so the real true torque is set by the TORQUE hand wrench. It does save time, especially for loosening. The torque should not be broken by the torque wrench like everyone has said. Either use a braker bar or your impact wrench. My .02 is not to get the soft socket from FVD. It is soft on the inside and strips easily. Just get the socket with the soft cover, that is good enough to protect the wheels.
