Khumos on track

I have khumos ecxsta (spelling?) street tires on the tt. Im running one last track event with the car and was curious if this would be ok?

I dont feel like buying a new set of sport cups for one event unless its a must.

Anyone run street tires on the track?

Unless they are the MX don't do it. A 911 will roast through a set of SPT's in no time flat.

You do not need to buy sportcups if you want to go out on track. There are plenty of good tires that wear well and offer great grp, without going to an R-compound tire.
Go to Tirerack and search for tires for your car, you'll see plenty.

Be good,
TomK
