HELP!! Car won't boost over .9
Like I said I am not trying to stir up any crap for anybody but I am not happy with how this went down, Actually when I first installed the kit that is advertised as "safe" for a stock motor, The first time I got on it I bent a rod and that cost me a engine rebuild (approx $20,000.00) now this ($3,700.00 and change) add the original cost of the kit on that and I should have bought a 2007 997TT
Yup upgraded from the Stage4 to the stage4 GT640, all bought brand new

Hey Statman, that's cos they use different ranges of diodes to show whatever on the boost gauge. .9bar-1.2bar on a 640 kit isn't actually showing the real boost anyways. The stocker really isn't all that great. I've always used a real analog one etc....
I doubt that would be the case, I sent an email to him a couple day's ago and he never emailed back, Sol also called several times over several day's and never got a return call, was told he was in the shop working on a car.
I don't want to start anything over the forum because I would probably be banned for life considering who it is. So if I happen to suddenly dis-appear come looking for me

Let us know how it goes tho.
But regarding this situation I do feel I should have been given better info, At least I would have started with the analog boost gauge and realized what was going on. Instead I got to pay for a hunt for leaks.
He is well aware of all my problems and at the time offered no "help", In his defense he didn't install the kit just sold it to me, I am confident if he would have installed it and there was a problem he would of stood behind it.
